They reported seeing a shadow of a small boy moving about the house along the walls. They first thought it might be one of the children out of bed sneaking up to a snack bowl, but discovered the child had been in his room on another floor the entire time. They reported that the “boy” began to make his presence known more frequently and it felt like a child was crawling into bed to sleep between them. We asked if they felt any heat or cold when the boy was in between them. They said they couldn’t feel much of a temperature change, but definitely felt mass pressing against them. They said they felt the boy might be looking for his cats, as the cat noises preceded his appearance and that he might be lonely, crawling into bed to be comforted.

Since then, that activity progressed into a threatening nature causing them to lose sleep and interrupting their daily lives. The dog continues to react to a presence in the house and during our investigation, we observed small houseflies flying through the house and stuck to flystrips the homeowners have hung. This investigation took place at the end of February during several weeks of twenty degree temperatures and heavy snow. We found no source for the flies living in the house.

The family has had two paranormal groups investigate the house and recommend that a smudging be performed to remove the entity. Each time the smudging was performed by each group, within days, the activity returned and intensified causing great duress to the family. The family learned after the last group’s visit that their teenage daughter was beginning to experience similar activity that the homeowners were reporting. They were referred to paranormal clergy to investigate the reports of possible demonic activity. Lon, from GLH was contacted as a Demonologist Apprentice, to perform a paranormal investigation to record any possible activity while Demonologist and Chaplain Sarah Gregory performed a binding throughout the house.

While performing a binding in the teenager’s room, one of the homeowner’s reported that they began to feel a tingling that often precedes the activity in the house. We continued throughout each room, on every level, with Sarah doing the binding, while Lon took readings and recorded both audio and video. Both felt uneasy in one of the bedrooms down the basement with a strange stain on a door jam and Lon reported shadow activity at the back of a utility closet that could not be recreated with any light source.

The evidence review turned up flat EMF recordings throughout the location which might indicate that any entity present was not human, or animal, as years of experience with this equipment has shown our group, but might indicate the presence of demonic activity, as these are ancient beings that have ability to choose to interact with our equipment, or remain undetected while interacting with the family. Lon captured two recordings during the investigation. One during our conversation about the “boy” looking for his cats that seems to have the name “Terry” whispered. Unsure if referring to the boy’s name, or his cat. The second was a “buzzing” Sarah heard while we were in the master bedroom in the dark trying to see if we could feel movement on the bed reported by the family. She reported that it sounded like a buzzing heard when a light switch isn’t turned on all the way. The infrared video shows flashes of light near us while on the bed, which could be fly activity in the room.

We have referred this case to paranormal clergy, Pastor G.P. Haggart, for further review, counseling and to determine if a deliverance is warranted in this case.
